Geography major Johanna Schaaper won first place in GIS Day map competition, another two geography majors tied for 3rd place

In Nov 16, 2016’s GIS day map competition, which was co-sponsored by Geography department and Davis Library, geography major Johanna won first place. There were 38 submissions to the map competition, including a web map on unc.maps.arcgis.com.
