Sara Smith and Mabel Gergan (graduate alum, now faculty at Florida State University) have been awarded an Antipode International Workshop Grant in collaboration with Malini Ranganathan (American University), Jesús F. Cháirez-Garza (University of Leeds), Sapana Doshi (University of Arizona), and Sneha Krishnan (University of Oxford). This grant will fund their spring 2019 workshop in Washington, DC: “Postcolonial Difference, Strategic Solidarities: Geographies of Race, Caste, and Tribe in South Asia.” The Antipode announcement is here.
