The Department of Geography and the University Libraries’ Davis Library Research Hub are collaborating to host two events on this year’s GIS DAY (Nov. 13, 2019).
1. Please submit your map via https://geography.unc.edu/private-forms/unc-gis-day-map-competition-submission/ before noon, Nov 12., 2019.
Map competition event: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM, at 2nd floor Davis library, Research Hub. Snacks will be provided. Winners will be decided by a popular vote. The top three winners will also be awarded with cash prizes.
2. Humanitarian Mapathon: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Student consultants will provide training and assistance.
