Sarah Schmitt was selected to the inaugural class of Kenan Graduate Fellows in the College of Arts and Sciences. This is a newly established recognition across the college for graduate students who “have distinguished themselves as outstanding researchers and teachers” while at UNC. Sarah is in the 4th year of her Ph.D., studying the role of fog in tropical island ecosystems.
