Sertanya Reddy received the Jessie Ball duPont Dissertation Fellowship. This named fellowship is awarded to a scholar who is making contributions to adolescent studies. Sertanya has a long history of researching with children, youth, and young adults that precedes her PhD research with underrepresented undergraduates traveling abroad. Her PhD sees those interests into the transitions from adolescents to young adulthood, drawing on the critical child geographies scholarship.
