Mark Ortiz has been named a Graduate Public Scholar by the Humanities for the Public Good Initiative with the office of Fine Arts and Humanities. Mark is a member of the first cohort of students across the College of Arts & Sciences who have been recognized for their public scholarship in the humanities. His work advances understandings of climate ethics and the role of young people in global and national negotiations and legislation.
