Ecuador was devastated on Saturday night by a 7.8 magnitude Earthquake. Many people are still trapped under the rubble and help still hasn’t arrived to some of the hardest-hit areas. However, the only thing greater than the magnitude of destruction has been the solidarity of people in the country and abroad who are coming together to help those in need.

There are a couple of Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team tasks that have been organized to assist with relief efforts:

On Monday April 18, geographers and others participated in a pop-up Mapathon in the Davis Library Research Hub
