Angus received a NSF Research Experience for Graduates (REG) Fellowship to conduct summer research on his dissertation project: Urbanizing the Amazon: Post-Neoliberal Development on the Ecuadorian Oil Frontier. The Research Experience for Graduates (REG) is a NSF program that supports graduate independent but closely mentored research, and encourages active PIs in the Cultural Anthropology program at NSF to work collaboratively with graduate students.  For more information, see: http://www.nsf.gov/pubs/2014/nsf14031/nsf14031.jsp.
