Angus received a NSF Research Experience for Graduates (REG) Fellowship to conduct summer research on his dissertation project: Urbanizing the Amazon: Post-Neoliberal Development on the Ecuadorian Oil Frontier. The Research Experience for Graduates (REG) is a NSF program that supports graduate independent but closely mentored research, and encourages active PIs in the Cultural Anthropology program at NSF to work collaboratively with graduate students.
