Conghe Song has received an award from NSF’s Dynamic Coupled Natural-Human (CNH) Systems program for his research on “CNH: The Effects of China’s Grain-for-Green Program on the Dynamics of Coupled Natural-Human System in Rural China”. The project is a multi-institutional international collaborative project with UNC Chapel Hill as the lead institution (Larry Band, Dick Bilsborrow, Xiaodong Chen, Pam Jagger as Co-Investigators). US Forest Service Southern Global Change Program at Raleigh, NC,  Anhui Agricultural University, Wuhan Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Beijing Forestry University are the collaborative institutions. The award will run 8/15/2013-7/31/2017 with an amount of $1,164,984.
