Sara Smith at SSRC and NSF

Sara Smith has been selected as one of  2012 awardees of the SSRC-IDRF book fellowship. (http://www.ssrc.org/fellowships/ssrc-cup-book-fellowship/). This program includes a workshop in New York City in December as well as 25 hours of individual editorial assistance to help shape the book manuscript.  She is also a participant in a newly awarded National Science Foundation grant to the Association of American Geographers for a workshop aimed at fostering new educational collaborations with geography educators in India and other South Asian nations.
