The Department of Geography and the Davis Library Research Hub are collaborating to host an Innovative Use of GIS competition, and a GIS Day map competition. Both competitions are for current undergraduate and graduate students of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
1. For innovative GIS Compeition, the winners will be awarded cash prizes, and will be selected to present their work at the NC GIS Conference in February, where they will receive the Herbert Stout Award (and an additional cash prize).
