Conghe Song has received an award from NSF’s Dynamic Coupled Natural-Human (CNH) Systems program for his research on “CNH: The Effects of China’s Grain-for-Green Program on the Dynamics of Coupled Natural-Human System in Rural China”. The project is a multi-institutional international collaborative project with UNC Chapel Hill as the lead institution (Larry Band, Dick Bilsborrow, Xiaodong Chen, Pam Jagger as Co-Investigators). US Forest Service Southern Global Change Program at Raleigh, NC, ¬†Anhui Agricultural University, Wuhan Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Beijing Forestry University are the collaborative institutions. The award will run 8/15/2013-7/31/2017 with an amount of $1,164,984.
